I’ve been thinking long and hard about expanding my portfolio with trash the dress sessions. I think they are a fun, relaxing way to enjoy being in your wedding dress and you end up with pictures unlike anybody else.
For me, I have a hard time being creative, so these types of sessions are good for me, because I have to expand my creativity and try to think outside the box. The two sessions I did with my sister Kelly and sister-in-law Katie worked really well because we collaborated together with our ideas. Two minds are better than one right? We felt at ease with each other bouncing ideas or “hey, why don’t you try this?’ I think the pictures we got speak of that and it’s a great starting point for me.
I say all of that to say this, I would like to expand my portfolio for trash the dress sessions, so I am in need of willing subjects. My criteria for you, if you are interested, is this; that you be patient with me. I’m still learning, so sometimes I might need a minute to gather my thoughts.
The only other thing I ask is that you have an idea of what you’d like to do. I really do want this to be a collaborative photoshoot. We’ll make it fun, I promise, but I want to see what ideas you have. Together we can then put together a photoshoot that will be totally about you and your personality.
In return for your patience with me I will give you 20 pictures from the session for your use. I will only choose 3 people for these photo shoots. To be eligible, please leave me a comment below and what your idea is. Don’t feel like your idea has to be way out there in order to be chosen, sometimes simplicity says more than a wild and crazy idea.
So, I will leave this open until the end of the month and we’ll go from there, depending on the interest level. If you’d like to get together with a friend on this, let me know that as well in your comments and we can coordinate a photoshoot with the two of you if that is something that sounds like fun.
Thank you so much for your help! I look forward to reading your fabulous ideas!
