So, it’s that time of year again. Time to get the whole family together, make sure everyone’s hair is combed, shirts tucked in and happy faces on. This past weekend we hosted a baby shower for my sister-in-law, who currently lives in Atlanta. She and her husband make the three hour trek up to Greenville for a few days before the shower. While they were in town, my mother-in-law wanted to take some family pictures for the annual Christmas card. No big deal. It’s usually an entertaining time when you get my husband, his brother, and their brother-in-law together; you never know what those three boys are up to.
This year proved to be a little more mild than in years past. Maybe it’s because we’re all a year older. Perhaps it’s because we’re all a little more mature. Perhaps. Let’s not get too carried away with ourselves. I think the whole family- picture-taking-time went rather well and with considerably less back talk from the participants as I directed and posed everyone.
As well as the Byrnes family portraits went, I still have to conquer the Hocker family portraits in Michigan over Thanksgiving next week. At least I was able to get some good practice in with my husband’s family. This this many people I’m surprised almost everyone is looking at the camera . . . . Justin! Anyways, here are a couple of my favorite photos, hope you enjoy!
