Jennifer contacted me earlier this spring about getting some family portraits done of her children, while they were still kids. She had an idea in her mind on a location and we settled on a date that worked for both of us.
We met at the Simpsonville City Park, and although I had never shot a session there before, I think we were able to find some great light and get some great shots! I loved the bright color choices they picked for their session too!
It was so nice to work with kids who are a little older and actually look at you when you ask them too! It seems like I’ve done a lot of family sessions where the kids are young and have a very short attention span, so I had to get creative to keep their attention. It was refreshing to say the least, that these kids were great with directions!
Jennifer also purchased a book with her session, of which I do offer in case you didn’t know, and I’m excited to get it in! It’s been a while since I’ve had a client order an album or book, so it was a lot of fun designing this book for Jennifer and her family.
Thank you so much for having me capture such special memories for your family! I hope you enjoy your images and your book for years to come!
